Congratulations to the 2015 Ripken League Champions

Reds - Jr Ripken

Yankees – Sr Ripken

Milford Baseball is teaming up with several surrounding towns to form summer baseball leagues. The summer season for the 8 & 9 year olds will be played in Marlboro in their Summer League and will run from mid July thru mid August, and will be held at their Williams Street complex. The summer season for the 10, 11 & 12 year olds will be played in a league consisting of teams from Mendon, Upton & Northbridge and will run from the end of June to the end of July. Locations are to be determined.

Anyone interested in helping coach a team should inquire at registration.

Both leagues will consist of approximately 10 games, with no weekends. The commitment is very lite, for this reason, we will be rostering extra players to cover vacations.

WALK IN REGISTRATION ONLY – To be held at Rosenfeld Field, Wednesday, June 10 from 6-8 during the Milford Baseball playoffs and Saturday, June 13, from 10-1, during the Rookie Day.  Cost will be $65 per child.

Parking at Rosenfeld & Inglesi Fields will be limited this year due to the Milford Pond dredging project. A good portion of the parking lot was lost to the company performing the work on Milford Pond, the parking lot is the best access for their equipment to get in and out of the pond due to the boat ramp. For this reason, there will be very limited parking at the field this year. Milford Baseball has worked with the Milford Parks Department, town officials and the Milford Police Department to work out safe alternatives for parking and dropping off/picking up your child from the complex.

Parents and kids will be allowed to park in the parking lots located in Plains Park and will be able to walk over from there safely without having to go onto Cedar Street. Additionally, parking will be allowed on Cedar Street in front of the cemetery in the pull-off section. Signs will be displayed for traffic to alert them of kid and pedestrian crossing. Signs will be posted at the gate behind the concession stand as well as the gate to the parking lot at Plains Park near the playground. Please use caution when parking and dropping off/picking up your children.
